News from The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
Posted on Sep 25 in NewsIt has been several months
since the last meeting of the CWCI Indian River Working Group.
As many of you
know, Laura DiGruttolo, our previous CWCI Coordinator, has moved to another
position with FWC, and I began as Coordinator in late March. Since then,
I’ve been busy conducting CWCI Introductory Forums in other regions throughout
the state. I’m excited about our progress: the Introductory Forums are
wrapping up and new working groups are getting started. I apologize for
taking so long to get in touch with you all, but I hope you’re ready to get the
group moving again.
I’d like to
arrange for our next Indian River working group meeting so that I can meet you
all, update you on the CWCI statewide, and begin again to prioritize a few
focal issues that this group can work on. I spoke with Holly Abeels, and
she has generously agreed to host us again at the Brevard County Extension
Office in Cocoa.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find many open dates until late
Nov. I’ve picked 3 dates (morning or afternoon options for each), and set
up a poll to see which time & date works best for most people.
Please click on this link (http://doodle.com/2whpa6qefbd7fepu)
and select all the times that will work for
you. The poll will be open through next Wed. (9/28).
I will email with
more information and an agenda once we have a date selected.
I look forward to working with you,
Blair
