Opportunity to see Watermaster AMD 5000 in the Albany, New York area
Posted on Apr 22 in Member BlogWanted to let you know about the opportunity to see the Watermaster out in Albany, New York and ask if you could please pass on the details to the FMCA members per our recent conversation. .
Date & Time: We will be there on Thursday, May 27 between 1 & 5 p.m. and also, that evening as explained below.
Our trainer, Pekka, from Finland will be conducting a training session with the operators from The New York State Canal Corporation (NYSCC) at their Vischer Ferry levee location, off of Ferry Dr., 5 miles west of exit 8 off of I-87. (We’re still waiting for an actual street address for GPS for this location.)
We expect to observe the training session that afternoon between 1 and 5 p.m. We will watch Pekka put the Watermaster through its paces in the water and then walk the machine ashore and take a closer look.
Afterwards, we’ll be staying at the Staybridge Inn, 39 Wolf Rd, Albany, NY 12205 (Ph: 518-438-3300) and would like to meet up for dinner to hang out with our trainer, Pekka, and Randy Fenton from NYSCC, to discuss the Watermaster, how it’s used, etc., hear about NYSCC’s success with it so far, and answer any unanswered questions you may have. It will be a good chance for everyone to get to know each other.
